Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head

First the large rooms were beautiful and spacious as seen in the photos. 2 pools one heated, and plenty of toys for kids in the pool boxes. The location is excellent right on the beach. The only 2 things that stop it from being a 5 star to me was difficult to park, and this is off season. The second is the cash grab with resort fees and high resort taxes. Overall gorgeous place just be prepared to pay for everything. Staff was pleasant especially the front desk staff in the evening and when I checked out.

Its a nice place. We generally come off season. Wish they didn't feel the need to fill their beautiful courtyard with all day and all evening 80s hits. Its 2026. Don't most people have ear buds? Im one of those strange people who like to sit outside and read. Why do I need to have Journey blaring?

We absolutely loved our recent stay at the HGVC on Hilton Head. We have been trying to get a room at this resort for several years, but have been unable to, due to its popularity, so we decided to go a little more off season. We got two units: one partial ocean view and one resort view. The units themselves were virtually identical (although the partial ocean view does have a TV in the mirror in the master bathroom & ice/water in the fridge). The partial ocean view had a fantastic view of the ocean from the living room and Master bedroom. Even the resort view has an ocean view from the balcony. The resort grounds are great. Super clean and very well maintained. The heated kids pool is very nice, and the water was surprisingly warm. We were there when it was in the 50s & 60s, and although it was quite chilly, it was warm enough for the kids to swim. I could see us spending the entire day by the pool during the warmer months. The little restaurant near the pools is sufficient, although it isn't going to knock your socks off. The ocean access is fantastic. Right off the kid's pool is super easy and clean access to a private beach. I do not know much about Hilton Head, but the location seems to be fantastic. You are minutes away from everything you need: parks, groceries, restaurants, bars, golf... etc. If we can get reservations in the warmer months, we would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at the Ocean Oak Resort was extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the kindness and efficiency of the ladies at reception. Jennifer, Karina and Natanya went above and beyond expectations. As Elite HGV members, we have traveled, using Hilton hotels and resorts extensively. These ladies are at the top of their game and absolutely represent the best in travel reception. I personally appreciate their efforts!

This is our third year coming to this vacation home and it’s always a nice getaway. There doesn’t seem to be a bad view on the property, you can see the ocean pretty well. I will say, the trees seem to be overgrowing a bit. But, the rooms are nice.

This is such a wonderful property, the room, service and amenities were actually better than described. The staff are all exceptional and make you feel at home. The location is fantastic with everything anyone could want a stone throw away. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Our family needed a brief getaway after the loss of a family member, Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head delivered, thank you so much - we’ll be back.

This was an impromptu trip, due to previous accommodations being subpar. I was immediately impressed with Hilton’s ability to accommodate our needs and willingness to work with us. The room was ‘chef’s kiss’. Although the weather was a little chilly the family still enjoyed the pool and the beach. The beach was my grandson’s only priority so being able to make that happen was the only thing that mattered. My twins love the beach, not so much the water, so having the beach view made their day. The room itself was spacious and the temperature was just right. We were in walking distance to shopping which the family loved. Although we may prefer the beaches of the Caribbean, I wouldn’t mind visiting HH just to stay at the Ocean Oak Resort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the HGV Ocean Oak Resort. We escaped a winter storm in the Upstate and enjoyed four nights at this lovely resort. The location is excellent (beach front) and the units are spacious and clean. We stayed in a handicap accessible unit as we were traveling with my MIL. We will definitely be coming back!
